Amanda L. Carlson, Esq.

Amanda L. Carlson is a Partner at Stempel, Catterson, LoFrumento, Carlson, Biondo, LLP. Since her graduation from law school in 2005, Amanda has dedicated her career to exclusively practicing matrimonial law and family law. Amanda’s matrimonial law experience includes the negotiation and settlement of complex financial matters, custody, support, equitable distribution, modification and enforcement issues, and the preparation of separation agreements and stipulations of settlement. Amanda’s family law expertise includes handling all aspects of child support, custody, guardianship, visitation, violation petitions and family offense petitions/ Orders of Protection in Family Court. As a result of her extensive Family Court experience, Amanda was appointed by the Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division Second Department as a member of the Attorneys for Children Advisory Committee for the Tenth Judicial District.

Amanda has been named a Top Rated Family Law Attorney by Super Lawyers and has been named as one of New York’s Rising Stars by SuperLawyers every year since 2014. In 2017, Amanda’s alma mater honored her at the inaugural Hofstra University School of Law’s Outstanding Women in Law, which celebrates women who have made meaningful and inspiring contributions to the legal community.

Amanda is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association (Family Law Section) and has served on the Board of Directors for the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association.
