John Salter joined the firm in 2024 and concentrates his practice exclusively in matrimonial and family law. He represents clients throughout Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens Counties in a wide range of domestic relations matters, including divorce, child custody and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, equitable distribution, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, family offense proceedings, grandparent visitation, post-judgment litigation, and related family law matters.

Mr. Salter is committed to helping clients navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions with practical guidance, strategic advocacy, and a focus on achieving favorable outcomes. He understands that family law disputes often involve deeply personal and emotional issues, and he works closely with clients to develop effective strategies tailored to their unique circumstances and long-term goals.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Salter participated in the Nassau County Supreme Court Judicial Fellowship Program, where he served as a judicial fellow to the Honorable Fran Ricigliano in the Matrimonial Center. Through this experience, he gained valuable insight into the judicial decision-making process and the complexities of matrimonial litigation, which continues to inform his approach to advocacy and case strategy.
